Infection Preventionist, Epidemiology – Rady’s Health (CHOC) MAIN CAMPUS- ORANGE, CA:  FULL-TIME

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in an acute care setting.

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, lab/health science, public health or related health field. If RN Certification in Infection Control, then BSN required within three years of hire.

  • Knowledge of Joint Commission, CDC, CAL OSHA, CDPH standards for infection prevention and control.
  • Project management skills. Knowledge of CDC-NHSN definitions, software and data analysis. Ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards; care with sensitivity and respect; advance care through development of new ideas and technology; promote teamwork to achieve CHOC’s mission; and understand and exceed customer expectations. Strong organization and prioritizing skills; strong verbal and written communications; strong problem solving and critical thinking skills, and strong computer skills.
  • Certified in Infection Prevention and Control within two years of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of experience in infection control & epidemiology.

Pay Rate: Minimum $104,832 Midpoint $138,902 Maximum $172,973/Yr

Infection Prevention Manager 1, Infection Prevention – UCI Health- ORANGE, CA:  FULL-TIME

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details
  • Strong knowledge of all relevant healthcare information technology and infection control workflows and processes.
  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a management or leadership role within a hospital or health care organization
  • Five years experience in a healthcare or public health setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft office applications
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, public health, or related area, and / or equivalent combination of experience / training.
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms

Pay Rate: Minimum $132,600/Yr Maximum $259,800/Yr
