  • Presentation Title: Healthcare Planning, Design, Construction & Occupancy: An IP Focus

    Guest Speaker:  Linda L. Dickey, RN, MPH, CIC, FAPIC (Independent IP Consultant, former National APIC President, FGI Board of Directors, ASHE faculty)

    Presentation Objectives:
    • Illustrate the difference between project phases and how infection preventionists contribute during each phase
    • Describe the Safety Risk Assessment and how starting in the planning phase can support IP design efforts
    • Clarify how the ICRA contributes to the overall project, including design, construction, and occupancy
